Portland Paddle

Portland Paddle has a  new location on the Presumpscot.   It is great freshwater alternative to padding in the less protected and colder waters of Casco Bay. The river is perfect for beginners, and also provides enjoyable paddling for those with more experience. From the dock in Riverbank Park,  Westbrook you can explore a beautiful stretch of the Presumpscot River between Saccarappa Falls and the historic Elms.  My friends and I (beginners) did a one hour rental and had a blast. There is plenty of parking and easy entry to the water.  The day we went there was a band playing in the bandstand too! You can also rent kayaks! Rentals are available by the hour, half-day and for 24 hours!

Need a lesson?  No problem.  Portland Paddle offers lessons for Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) and Kayaking at the East End Beach location.

Check out their website for more information on locations, rentals, tours and more www.PortlandPaddle.net
